Safe sleep guidance (for newborns to about 6 months):
- Sleep position – always place your baby on their back, never on their tummy as it could lead to suffocation. Until they can roll themselves from back to front and front to back, move them onto their back if they have rolled over to their tummy.
- Baby should sleep in the same room as you for nighttime sleep and day naps.
- Crib setup – use a firm, flat mattress and avoid any loose items which could cover their face, such as blankets, pillows, pods, nests or soft toys, for the first year to prevent suffocation risk. Do not incline the mattress.

- Co-sleep safely – if you choose to co-sleep, ensure your baby has their own space (like a next-to-me crib/cot). Never sleep with your baby if you’ve been drinking, smoking or taking any pain medication and never on the couch.
- Room temperature – keep baby’s room temperature comfortable between 16 and 20 degrees C (61-68 degrees F).
Please see The Lullaby Trust for further information about safe sleeping.

The main warnings we legally must share are further below.
As a general guide, the main danger is of strangulation with the cables/cords. To prevent this risk, please carefully follow the installation instructions for the wall/shelf dock, the car dock (if using the charging cable) and the floor stand.
Use the cable trunking to keep cables safely out of your child’s reach, so at least 3ft / 90cm away from your child’s crib.
Please also ensure your monitor is always fully clicked into the dock to prevent any risk of it falling.
