There are a few things you can configure in your notification settings to receive the notifications you want.
You can access all these settings from the COG icon on the "Monitor View' screen.
Everyone can access and alter their own notification settings. In addition, the account 'owner' (the person who created the Dote account and connected the Dote Buddy) can alter the detection settings – which affects the monitor across all users' apps.
NB: if you have more than one monitor, the notification and detection settings need to be configured for each monitor – as you may wish to configure them differently.
Detection Settings:
For all the different things the monitor can detect (sound, crying, motion etc), the account owner can alter the sensitivity using the slider under each type.
High sensitivity detects quieter sounds and smaller movements.
Low sensitivity detects only louder sounds and larger movements.
